Step 1: Create your account

Registration is self-service. It is a two-step form. Your new account waits for an IFMS administrator to approve it before you can use it.

Start the sign-up​

  1. Open Create Account in the Developer Portal. You can also open the Developer Portal and choose Sign-in, then Create Account.
  2. Enter your email address as the username, for example name@example.com, and choose Proceed to Self Register.
Use your email address as the username

The form accepts only an email address as the username. Any other username is refused with "Username pattern policy violated".

Do not add a tenant domain to your username. You register under the default tenant, where the telemetry API is published.

Fill in the registration form​

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

The sign-up form currently labels the IFTMS Operator ID field ITMS operator ID. Enter your IFTMS Operator ID there.

Tick the privacy policy box and choose Register. You see a message that registration is complete.

If you sign in now​

Your account exists, but it is not approved yet. If you sign in before approval, you authenticate successfully but see 403 — insufficient privileges. This is expected.
