Step 4: Create an application

An application holds your credentials and your API subscriptions. One application's token calls every API you subscribe it to.

  1. Open Add New Application in the Developer Portal. Sign in first if the portal asks you to. A DefaultApplication already exists. You can create your own so it is easy to recognise.
  2. Enter a name, for example demo-fleet-app.
  3. Keep the Shared Quota at its default, unless your IFMS integration coordinator tells you otherwise.
  4. Add a description if you want one, then choose Save.

The application's overview opens. Use this application for the telemetry subscription and for your Production keys.
